The Biggest Losers of Week 1
Biev tells you the biggest losers after Week 1

Week 1 has come and gone and it’s time to get into the biggest losers of Week 1. Is there anywhere better to start than the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. They went into week 1 hopeful and ready for a much improved season. They returned arguably one of the best receivers in the country in KJ Duff and paid a pretty penny for him amongst many others. The season looked bright and they were -30.5 favorites against 0-10 UMass. Surely that’s a free ass beating right? Wrong. From start to finish it looked like they were outplayed, outmatched and frankly outcoached. Don’t get me wrong Rutgers isn’t a powerhouse by any means but to lose to a team that had 0 wins the season prior is inexcusable. They are by far the biggest loser of week 1.
When we talk about the biggest losers of week 1 you would think they would have to lose to be mentioned but that’s not the case with the second biggest loser of week 1 and that is the Oregon Ducks. The Oregon Ducks narrowly escaped Boise State as 25 point favorites. This team was talked about as the best defense to ever live and they gave up 27 to dogshit Boise State. They looked evenly matched through the entire game. If you want to win a natty you can’t look like that against inferior teams. As an Ohio State fan I was very excited to see that team with my own eyes. They would be a +10 point favorite against the Buckeyes if they played right now. Do we need to have a discussion about Dante Moore? You can’t win a National Championship with a bitch made QB and I personally think he doesn't have it. I’m selling any and all of my Oregon stock this season and will be fading them this week and the weeks after.
It’s pretty hard to hit rock bottom after a 1-11 season during week 1 but I think the Pokies did just that. The Oklahoma State Cowboys were a two touchdown favorite against Tulsa and boy did they show out. This team has been talked about more than any 1-11 team in the history of the world. You think a team was having an overnight culture change because they brought in a good low level FBS coach and a digshit QB? It’s fucking North Texas with different colors. Stop laying double digits with a team that is UNT reincarnated. They aren’t going to be good this year and won’t be for a couple years. If you had high hopes for this team go ahead and change your mind because they are at best a 5 win team and I think that’s being very generous.
