Hot Dudes went 4/5 yesterday, so it’s only right we run it back.
1: Ronald Acuña Jr., Outfielder, Atlanta Braves
Listen, for most of this season Ronald Acuña could’ve been referred to as a cold dude, but I think a lot of ball knowers saw him hit that grand slam in Boston three days ago and thought to themselves, “This may be the breakthrough.”
And it sure was.
Acuña has 4 home runs and 7 RBIs in his last 3 games while being walked FIVE times. I think Ronald stays hot.

2: Oneil Cruz, Outfielder, Pittsburgh Pirates
Oneil Cruz homered for the second game in a row yesterday against the Twins and has tallied 8 hits, 3 homers, and 7 RBIs in his last 7 games, along with being walked once in each of the last 3 games.
There’s absolutely no reason why Cruz wouldn’t continue to see success against this abysmal Twins pitching staff.

3: Colson Montgomery, Infielder, Chicago White Sox
After Vargas came through for us, you’d have to be crazy to think I wasn’t putting a White Sox guy on here.
Colson not only homered in yesterday’s game, but he has had multi-hit games in 4 of his last 5. The Tigers are in a freefall, and Colson stays hot.

4: Ian Happ, Outfielder, Chicago Cubs
Ian Happ is making it look easy out there.
Multi-hit games in his last 4, 10 hits in his last 5 games, 3 home runs, and 9 RBIs. Today, he’s on Sunday Night Baseball against Liberatore, who is certainly prone to giving up some bombs.

5: Jarren Duran, Outfielder, Boston Red Sox
Duran ALMOST sold the bag yesterday, but in a wild 9th inning that saw him get two ABs, he homered in his second one to put Boston up 9-1 and continue his streak as a hot dude.
He has a 7-game hitting streak with 12 hits, 3 HRs, and 7 RBIs in that span.
