This offseason, Josh Harris had a very important decision to make. It was clear that Dan Quinn and Kliff Kingsbury were beefing, and the Commanders owner sided with the head coach. He kept Dan Quinn around, and let Kliff walk. Of course the former Commanders OC ends up with his buddy Sean McVay and the Rams.

Not only is Kliff Kingsbury in LA, he is the assistant head coach of the Rams. When he left Washington, I was pissed. I wanted us to keep him instead of Dan Quinn, but looking back, it might've been more of a "lose lose" scenario than I originally anticipated. We know Dan Quinn sucks, but look at the Rams' offense this year. They have been extremely inconsistent and are only .500 on the season after everyone crowned them Super Bowl Champions only a couple of months ago. Is Kliff not as great of an offensive mind as we all thought?

This game obviously means something for Kliff Kingsbury facing his former team. It also means something for Dan Quinn, who is not only still trying to keep his job secure in general, but I'm sure would love to beat his former assistant who he was beefing with last season. In revenge angles, I prefer to back the team, not the player. When the media will be talking about Kliff Kingsbury looking to outperform JD5 and his former team, I care more about the Commanders angle of trying to hand their former coach an embarrasing loss.

I think we can all agree this spread is short. I'm sure JD5 wants to go out there and prove to his former coach that it's all him, and the offense didn't thrive two years ago because of Kliff. I'm sure Dan Quinn wants to prove to Josh Harris that he made the right decision, too. This game means something for the Commanders, and it's a massive letdown spot for the Rams that on paper should win this game with ease. Looking at the spread, there isn't going to be anything easy about it.
