The NBA Square to Take Tonight

If you are watching this game tonight, props to you because you're a sicko. Two winless teams face each other in the Smoothie King Center, a true game of year. Matching the sicko energy of this game, I'd like to back a player who has been horrid to start the season.

The easiest way to get me to bet on a player is for me to see slander tweets like these on my feed. Fears has shot only 14-45 from the field and 3-16 from three to start the season. This includes last night where he played 24 minutes against the Nuggets, shooting 5-14. Now the Pelicans play a back to back, and they're a team where we know those can get weird. Jordan Poole is doubtful, which is huge for Fears since he'll likely run the bench unit. There aren't any other big players announced sitting, but it wouldn't be shocking for a late decision on a Zion/Trey Murphy/Dejounte Murray or for their minutes to be managed a bit.

Fears should see a good bit of run tonight but it's also a great matchup. He thrives in a very disorganized flow of basketball and what better team to do that against than the Sacramento Kings, maybe the most disorganized organization in sports. The Kings really don't have many guards to defend him with, it's just Acuff, Lavine, Monk and Sharp. He probably sees the most of those first two and neither of them are quick enough or defend well enough to stop him going downhill.
