NBA PLAYOFF BEST BETS ROUND 2

Went 3-0 on my article plays yesterday, so it feels only right we run it back with a GLORIOUS SLATE ahead of us featuring three Game 6s.

The Knicks were down 2-1 in this series against the Hawks after getting absolutely cooked by CJ McCollum. They made some adjustments defensively, but it’s honestly the offensive improvements that impressed me the most. Instead of sitting around watching Jalen Brunson play hero ball for the majority of the game, they got guys like OG and KAT involved and played a much better brand of team basketball.

After allowing the Knicks to score 240 points in two games, I think it’s clear to the Hawks what the key to victory is here in a win-or-go-home game: DEFENSE, DEFENSE, AND MORE DEFENSE. For that reason, give me the under 214.5 in a game where I think every possession will count.

Celtics shot the ball horribly in Game 5, and with the exception of Game 1, they haven’t shot the ball particularly well all series. While I am not the guy who normally buys into a cold team, I believe this Boston team is an exception to the rule. I am expecting a MUCH better performance than 11/39, like they had in Game 5, and while I thought Joel Embiid’s performance in Game 5 was awesome to see, I am not expecting him to repeat it in Game 6.

Give me the Celts -6.5.

Make no mistake, this may be Game 6, but for the short-handed Minnesota Timberwolves, this is Game 7. This is their last chance to win this series. They will not be going into Denver short-handed for a Game 7 and winning as double-digit dogs, and I expect Minnesota to play just like that.
