Best Bets for the MLB board today plus some FUN BONUS BETS

Watching the Final Four yesterday and coming to the sad realization that there’s really nothing left but baseball and NBA playoffs for me for the next five months. With that being said, it’s time to lock in, find some winners, and more importantly, have some fun.

The Pirates have been hot, winners of four in a row, and Konnor Griffin’s debut went about as well as you could ask for, with Rav and Gootz in attendance. With that being said, the O’s aren’t getting swept today, and I’m expecting the aging Chris Bassitt to turn back time a little and rectify his 4.1 inning, 8 hits, and 4 runs allowed performance against the Rangers.

On the other side, we have Braxton Ashcraft, who was serviceable against the Reds in his first start, pitching 6 innings and allowing 2 runs, but receiving absolutely no run support from his bats, which is something Paul Skenes knows a little bit about. I think the Orioles get to him before the Pirates get to Bassitt, and I can’t turn down the plus price next to the O’s trying to avoid the sweep.

Bonus bet: No HR in the game (+490)

The Milwaukee Brewers have not been fun to fade so far, and I have yet to do it successfully, but that doesn’t mean I am going to stop trying. This has been a fairly underwhelming start to the year for the Royals’ bats, who had A LOT of hype coming into the year, scoring more than 3 runs in only 3 of 8 games so far this year.

They did, however, have a nice little breakout game in the second game of the doubleheader against these Brewers last night, and I am looking for that to continue while also expecting Kris Bubic to continue to pitch well. Give me Kansas City here.

Bonus bet: Salvy Perez HR (+465)

This last one’s pretty simple: I bet $100 on the Chicago White Sox every day. It started off feeling very grim, but after back-to-back wins against the AL champion Toronto Blue Jays, I have some newfound confidence. Today, we go for the sweep that absolutely NO ONE expected.

The Sox have good enough bats to keep them in any game and bad enough pitching to keep them out of every game.
