2026 NBA MOCK DRAFT TOP 10

1. Washington Wizards — Darryn Peterson   Listen, man, most people will tell you this is Dybantsa here, and if it was any team besides Washington, I would agree with them. The Wizards finally stop overthinking things and take the best pure scorer in the class. Darryn Peterson is the kind of guard prospect that immediately changes a franchise’s energy. Peterson plays with the confidence of someone who already thinks he belongs in the league.   Washington desperately needs a centerpiece, and Peterson feels like the first real “build around me” talent they’ve had in years. 2. Utah Jazz — AJ Dybantsa   The Jazz are jumping for joy here when AJ falls to 2, and they land the highest-upside player in the draft and probably the best athlete too. AJ Dybantsa looks like he was created in a lab specifically for modern NBA basketball.   Utah has quietly been stockpiling long athletes for years, and Dybantsa fits that identity perfectly.   NBA Comparison: Bigger Paul George

3. Memphis Grizzlies — Caleb Wilson   Memphis gets back to what made them dangerous in the first place: athleticism and toughness. Caleb Wilson is everywhere defensively and already looks like the type of forward that can immediately be plugged into an NBA lineup.   The offensive game is still developing, but the tools are absurd. 4. Chicago Bulls — Darius Acuff   The Bulls desperately need offensive juice, and Acuff brings it immediately. One of the better shot creators and most exciting players in the draft.   Lots of knocks on his defense, but for a team who hasn’t had something to believe in in a very long time, this god-mode type of player is perfect.   NBA Comparison: Allen Iverson. I don’t care, argue with your momma.  

5. Los Angeles Clippers — Cam Boozer   This feels like the perfect Clippers pick. Cam Boozer doesn’t need 30 shots to impact a game. He rebounds, passes, defends, and scores efficiently.   With the Clippers trying to bridge eras while staying competitive, Boozer gives them a foundational forward who can contribute immediately without needing the offense built around him.   There’s also a very real chance he ends up being one of the safest stars in the draft.   NBA Comparison: Paolo Banchero with more defensive consistency.

6. Brooklyn Nets — Kingston Flemings   Brooklyn takes a swing on upside and lands one of the fastest guards in the class.   The Nets need a star badly, and Flemings at least gives them a prospect capable of becoming that eventually. His development as a shooter will determine what he becomes in the NBA ultimately.   NBA Comparison: De’Aaron Fox

7. Sacramento Kings — Keaton Wagler   I wanna start this off by saying I am not high on Keaton Wagler at all. Matter of fact, if I had to pick a guy to be a bust in this top 10 here, this would 100% be my guy. BUT this feels like a classic Kings pick — skilled offensive player with a high IQ.   Sacramento needs a savior here, and I unfortunately am not sure if Wagler is that guy, but I do think this is the pick they make.   NBA Comparison: Austin Reaves

8. Atlanta Hawks — Aday Mara   Every draft has one player that analytics people and “watch the tape” people both become obsessed with. This year, it might be Aday Mara.   Massive frame. Elite interior presence. And sneaky good passer.   The offensive polish still has a ways to go, but the ceiling is enormous.   NBA Comparison: A much better Walker Kessler

9. Dallas Mavericks — Mikel Brown Jr.   Dallas adds another creator next to Flagg and immediately becomes much less predictable offensively.   Playing next to Flagg would simplify the game for him early and allow his scoring instincts to flourish without overwhelming pressure.   This is the kind of pick that suddenly looks genius two years later.   NBA Comparison: Smaller Jamal Murray

10. Milwaukee Bucks — Yaxel Lendenborg   The Bucks go for versatility and toughness with one of the most productive all-around players in the class. Lendenborg rebounds, defends, facilitates, and brings the exact type of energy Milwaukee has built its identity around before seeming to lose it over the past few years.   He’s not flashy, but every contender needs players like this in playoff rotations.
