My Favorite Cheeky Future

Are we overlooking the best value we have ever seen on a future bet? I think so. Before we talk about the future we have to talk about today, we have to talk about right now. Today the Connecticut Huskies face the number one overall seed, the Duke Blue Devils. They are getting 5.5 points and are +185 on the moneyline. One seeds have been laying 7.5 points all tournament yet we get the #1 overall seed laying just 5.5 after finally being fully healthy and ready to go. Why is that? I think Vegas knows the Huskies are a live dog and have a very real chance to win this game. 

There was nobody lower on this Uconn team than me out there. I think the Big East was an awful product this year and lacked any and all talent. That league is dead and I said the same about the two Big East teams in the tournament. Then I watched St Johns’ fight and claw and scratch against this Duke team and almost win that game. The Duke whistle is one of a kind, they get the most calls and shoot the most free throws by a wide margin compared to their opponents. They are Duke and they are and will always be everyones darling. I hate them and I always will because of it. If that whistle isn’t as bad as it’s been all tournament then we will have a serious chance of a Uconn victory tonight. 

Like I said before, I wasn’t high on this team at all and actually said they have no chance of winning but boy was I wrong. There’s something about Dan Hurley in this tournament that makes you believe. He has that look in his eye again and I’m buying into it. He is not a guy you want to doubt and I’m done doubting him. 

If Uconn beats Duke they will match up with a much more favorable team in Illinois. I don’t want to sound like a hater because this Illinois is very good but have they really been tested? They were blessed with an awful Penn team and then a VCU team that sucks. They then beat Houston in Houston which is a great win but Houston does this every year where they have a god awful shooting night and lose because of that scoring drought. Credit to Illinois but Houston lost that game. They then get Iowa who ran out of gas and had no chance of winning that game with the whistle Illinois was getting. Uconn can and will beat Illinois if they get that chance so we are betting on them to beat Duke tonight and then we are sitting in the National Championship with a +1500 ticket. 

Beat Duke, beat Illinois and then lets dance with one of the big dogs. Dan Hurley at +1500 is criminal with three wins to go. Could this lose in the next 5 hours? Sure, but I have a feeling we are looking like a genius in a week when we are in Indianapolis dancing with one of the big dogs in Arizona or Michigan. Coaches win games and Dan Hurley is a winner. Give me UConn to cut down the nets in Indy at +1500.
