If you're pulling for the USA in the WBC... you're kind of rooting for both Italy and Mexico tonight. If Italy wins outright, the USA automatically advances. If Mexico wins... We need them to score 5+ runs to advance. I have a feeling Mexico is going to win tonight after Italy just pulled off one of the bigger upsets in WBC history. Therefore, we're rooting for runs.
That's why my favorite play for the day is the over 7.5 total runs. We shouldn't be in this position, but Mark DeRosa being clueless screwed us. I'm not sure if that's even true, but that's how I feel.
