The National Blowout Association

As I’m sitting here on a rare weekend where I have absolutely nothing going on, I decided to take a dive into the NBA playoffs and also the NHL playoffs. I have been an NBA hater for probably as long as I remember, after the Warriors vs Cavs series in 2017 I stopped watching and for good reason. Every game I have the displeasure of watching is a fat blowout. Why would anyone care about this league? There's always an excuse with NBA fans. “Wait, until the playoffs.” Now its the playoffs and it's a giant snooze fest and all I hear is “wait until the second round.” Give me a break, this league sucks. 

Here is my hot take about the people that obsess over the NBA. I’m not talking about the people who bet on the NBA and enjoy it, I’m talking about the people who obsess over it and don’t watch any other league besides it. They’re morons when it comes to sports. They don’t know anything about the sport of basketball or how it is supposed to be played. They enjoy this lazy product that is the National Basketball Association. They are usually the kids that only played at the YMCA and had every excuse as to why they don’t play for an actual team. The truth is they don’t know anything about basketball. Those are the clowns that enjoy this league. 

These games aren't even close to competitive. You can’t say “It’s the 1v8 or 2v7 what do you expect?” These are professional athletes! It’s not bums vs bums, this is a playoff team they should be able to not lose by 40. Sixteen seeds filled with 6 '0 white guys can compete better against 5 first round picks but five pro athletes can't keep it within double digits in the playoffs? Give me a break. These teams are awful. Make changes, do something. We can’t have 16 teams in the playoffs if most of them can’t keep it within 40. Nobody wants to watch this and the people that do are lying to themselves.
