PrizePicks 2-Piece Pitcher Whale

Baseball season continues to roll on as we close the door on April and, shockingly, I have kind of bought into betting on the diamond so far. I haven't been the most impressive bettor by any means and that isn't what I am referring to, although I will get dialed at times. It has just been nice to see baseball on the TV again and fun to be involved with the sport. The Pirates will always take priority for me but learning and leaning into other teams/players throughout the rest of the league has been fun. Enough yap.

I think my favorite way to bet baseball so far this year has been riding and fading pitchers. With how much variability comes with the OG game of ball and stick, it feels like the best way not get fucked by chaos by taking the position that controls the game the most. 

I'm not gonna sit here and try to convince you to take these plays based on advancaed statistics and underlying metrics and all that hooplah. Thats straight hooplah. It just comes down to this:

Jack Kochanowicz is knuck, coming off one of the best starts of his career. His delivery irks the living shit out of me (look at that cover photo) and he is super innefecient (only threw 5.1 IP last week). The White Sox have been hitting the ball hard this year and will get to Jack today. Might need to sprinkle a Murakami nuke ... 👀

Dylan Cease. The Angels and Blue Jays just faced off in his last start where Cease also only went 5 innings but tossed a season high 12 K's and gave up just 2. He's been great to start his time with the Blue Jays. Now he faces the Boston Red Sox who have been just dreadful to start the year. Cease has gotten to 18 outs (6 innigs) just one time this season and he's sitting there on PrizePicks with a normal square to go 6. With a game total of just 7 runs, Cease stays more effecient today and toys with the Red Sox starting lineup coming off two wins since firing their manager.
