Orioles vs Cardinals: How to Make Money Fading Both Offenses

The Orioles are coming off a massive 13-1 victory last night against the Cardinals where they scored early and often. Tonight, I want to fade their offense against an underrated starting pitcher on Wednesday. 

The Orioles’ offense isn’t the only offense I want to fade in this game.  The Cardinals’ offense hasn’t impressed me much down the stretch. I’m not afraid to fade them, and I want to lean into the contrarian angle of fading both offenses after last night’s high scoring affair. 

Instead of taking the full game under, let’s isolate the starting pitching. Kyle Bradish hasn’t been at his best of late, but he is criminally underrated. Expect Bradish to bounce back after some mid starts, he has his best matchup tonight in weeks. Matthew McGreevy also hasn’t been great of late, but he’s a solid young arm who I believe in. After the Orioles just scored 13 runs, this is the perfect spot to back McGreevy. 

The Cardinals have hit 5 overs in a row. Regression is looming. Fade the O’s offense and back Bradish to shove against the struggling Cardinals on Wednesday night. I’ll meet you at the cash counter when there are 1 or 2 runs total in the first five innings of this ball game.
