NFC North Preview

We are finally close enough to football season where it’s okay to be the only thing I talk about. So what better way to get started than by talking about my favorite division in football. I think it’s really hard to even argue that this division isn't far and away the best division in football. They had four teams with winning records. Argue with a fucking wall. 

The best way to start out talking about the best division in football is by talking about the best team in that division. And in 2026 that is the Minnesota Vikings. I don’t have to tell you why because last week I gave you a full article as to why they are so go and read that if you need my reasoning. I have them as a 12-13 win team in 2026 and stand by that. 

Next we will get into the second best team in the NFC North which is the team that finished dead last in the North last year which is the Detroit Lions. What separates them and the Vikings is the coaching. KOC & Flores can and will coach circles around this team but they’re loaded. This offense is one of a kind and you have to be a moron to disagree. Gibbs may be one of the greatest RBs to ever live when it’s all said and done. The real problem on this team is their defense, holy shit this defense actually fucking sucks so bad. There isn’t an ounce of talent on it and it will be the reason they aren’t an 11 win team. They will have to score 40 a game to be relevant but I think they can. 

The next is a team that although I have finishing third in the division, I think they are still a playoff team and very talented. The Chicago Bears are coming off a magical season and although I think they will regress, it won’t be much. I see them as an 8-9 team which could easily be 10-7 if everything goes right. Caleb Williams will continue to thrive in that Ben Johnson offense and if they can stay healthy will have another good season. 

And last but most definitely least is the Green Bay Packers. I am very low on this team as I think they just got worse at every level. That defense scares nobody, they still have one of the worst secondaries in the entire NFL. And don’t get me started about that offense. Jordan Love is one of the most overrated QBs of our lifetime and now he loses ⅔ of his top WRs. You think Matthew Golden is doing anything different than last year? He’s not, he is flat out ass and Christian Watson will be on the IR by week 3. They do nothing for me and I think they will have a horrific season.
