We are so close to another NFL season, which means fantasy football is right around the corner. I consider myself a fantasy football sharp, and I would love to help you win your league this year. Let's dive right into one of my favorite fantasy football draft strategies for this upcoming season. I plan on dropping one of these articles every day until the NFL season starts.

Don't sleep on kickers 

If your league still has kickers, you might as well pick the best one! I am a big fan of drafting a good kicker in fantasy, because if you get the right guy in an offense that's good enough to drive down the field but not good enough to get in the endzone, you can reap some serious benefits. 

Be the first one in your league to draft a kicker. Start the panic in your league and get everyone else fired up. As crazy as it sounds, having a guy like Brandon Aubrey is significantly more valuable than a late-round flier on a FLEX player. You know for a fact Aubrey is going to get you damn near 10 points every week, because Dak Prescott is his quarterback and isn't good enough to get in the endzone. 

If you can draft Brandon Aubrey in the 9th round, take him. He is a league winner and is the best NFL kicker I have ever seen. If you can't get him, take Trey Smack in the second to last round of your draft. He's more of a sleeper pick at this position because he has yet to play a regular season NFL game, but he was lighting it up all preseason and will have plenty of opportunities to score for Green Bay in 2026.
