How to Draft from the #2 Spot in Fantasy Football

We are back for another mock draft and today we are picking from the #2 spot which I wasn’t familiar with is one of the best spots to draft from. I don’t know if your draft will play out like mine but if it does then you are winning your league.
With Pick #2 you will get one of the two of Gibbs or Bijan and if you’re playing in a league with ball knowers than you will likely get Bijan but you can’t go wrong either way. With pick #2 you should take either Kenneth Walker or Nico Collins if they somehow fall. They did not for me so I settled with the next best thing which is Malik Nabers.
It then comes right back to you where you will be able to solidify a very solid WR room with either Chris Olave or Devonta Smith and I went with Olave but if Trey McBride is there you should take him. I loved going Olave here and I loved it even more once Ladd Mcconkey fell to me in round 4. I think he is one of the best WRs in the league and somehow he fell in my lap in Round 4.
In Round 5, 6 & 7 we got absolutely loaded and solidified one of the best fantasy lineups I have ever seen. In 5.02 we get one of the most underrated RBs in the game in Deandre Swift, if he stays healthy then watch out for Swift in this Ben Johnsons offense. In 6.11 we finally get our QB and a top 5 fantasy QB at that in Justin Herbert. In Round 7 we picked up WR1 in Jacksonville in Parker Washington who would be in the starting lineup for almost any other team.
We finished off our starting lineup with a guy I have in every league in Kyle Pitts and I still don’t know how to feel. I made some of my better bench picks out of any league and took Jordan Mason & Stefon Diggs in back to back rounds which I love. In the final three rounds I got some much needed backups. I went with Chris Rodriguez who is RB1 In Jacksonville if Tuten gets hurt and will get touches early and often. I then went with two studs to backup our QB & TE in Brock Purdy & Dallas Goedert. It’s hard to argue that this isn’t the best spot to draft from in 2026.
