We are back with another fantasy football blog and this one is a little different. I have given you what to do in what many think are the worst spots in fantasy football but today I’m telling you what to do with the #1 pick. Some people love but most hate it. I hate having this much time in between picks but I’m going to show you how to make the best team possible. 

With the first pick in the entire draft you are picking 1 of 2 people and you  really can’t go wrong with either Gibbs or Bijan but for me I love Gibbs in this offense without David Montgomerey. I think he is going to be the favorite to win offensive player of the year for the entirety of the year. He is one of the best Rbs we have ever seen and he is the guy in that offense. 

This guy somehow fell to me at 2.12 and I couldn’t believe it as he has been a top 3 receiver in fantasy for the last three years. He is that guy and that is Nico Collins. You’re getting back to back picks here so you have zero choice not to go WR/WR for these two picks. You will get that QB/TE later so don’t force it now when you can take the best available. With the 3.01 pick I got George Pickens who was a fucking nightmare in fantasy for the entire year. You get a dawg in this Cowboys offense that throws the ball all day long. 

The other guy there was Nabers and I thought about taking him but I’m sure glad I didn’t because Mr Cam Skattebo fell to me at the 4.12 spot and I can’t have both. I think he does what he was doing all of last year, if he stays healthy watch out. Again we get back to back and I astill have the same mindset in taking FLEX guys aside from QB/TEs and in that spot we get David Montgomerey who will be a massive problem in Houston. I see this as his job and his job only. Woody Marks isn’t coming for shit. If he’s there, take him. 

At 6.12 is where you can get you a QB and I got a great one in Caleb Williams. Hard to argue getting a mobile QB with a cannon for an arm that late but we got him. Then at 7.01 I went and took Marvin Harrison Jr for a perfect backup to my star wideouts. And then in Round 9 I finished off my starters with Kyle Pitts who we all know is a wild card but you have to pay to find out in Round 9.

To finish off my bench with elite wideouts we went with Brian Thomas Jr at 8.12 and finished it with Quentin Johnson at 10.12. I think those two with Marvin Harrison Jr is the best WR bench room possible and it’s really not that close. In 11.01 we took Dylan Sampson who I don’t love but in Round 11 you have to take what you can get. We finished off our team with Juwan Johnson who has massive upside going into the season but I’m fine if you take another QB with that pick. Overall I love this lineup and the bench WRs, you can win your league from the #1 spot with ease if you draft like this.
