The original idea of this article was to glaze the absolute ever living shit out of Munataki Murakami for the HR Derby tonight. +600 to win the whole thing?! How disrespectful. Do we forget who this guy was before he got injured and had to miss a month plus of the season?!
The rookie slugger was out six weeks while rehabbing from a Grade 2 right hamstring strain suffered while beating out a double play grounder on May 29 against the Tigers, with the White Sox finishing 17-18 during his absence.
The Southside Samuari pimped 20 home runs and was toe-for-toe with Schwarber before going down. People will say "oh he missed so much time ohhh he can't beat Schwarber omg omg" STFU. He came back for the White Sox this past weekend vs the Twins, and although he didn't hit a homer he got good PT. He saw some pitches and got the perfect amount of at bats to be ready for tonight. +600 is an absolute gift for one of the top three home run hitters in the league.
Also, you know I will be hammering Ben Rice at +1000 as well. The real cog of the Yankees office this season ... +1000 is too much value to pass up. Have you seen how red that baseball savant page is? There's derby winner painted all over Ben Rice and I am sure as hell not going to miss out on him betting on just one guy.
