Bievs' Conference Tournament Winners

Last week I gave you my mid major tournament winners but it’s now time for the big boys. Let's start off with the ACC which is the easiest one on the board for good reason. Duke to win the ACC is -350 and it’s because it really is that easy. There is nobody in this conference that can beat Duke after the Caleb Wilson injury. There's no point in giving you anyone else because it’s not happening. Duke by a million.

Now we move into a more fun conference to bet on but still feels like a two man race. The Big East usually has talent from top to bottom but not this year. Teams like Creighton & Providence used to be household names but are genuinely putrid this year. It’s a two man race between St Johns & Uconn and I’m riding the home team at better value. The Johnnies are +190 to win the Big East and have a cake walk to the finals. They stay away from Nova and will have the winner of Seton Hall/Creighton which doesn’t matter who they play. You’re getting this Johnnies team at +190 on their home floor. When you can get that you take it. Give me Pitino to win the Big East.

If you thought I wasn’t giving you the hottest team in the country to win the Big 10 you’re insane. Give me the Ohio State Buckeyes at +7500 to win the Big 10. They went from a first four out team to a 9-8 seed in a matter of two weeks. They are rolling behind Bruce Thornton and are finally getting healthy at the right time. They get Brandon Noel back who’s been out all year which helps their bench tremendously. Everything is clicking for the Bucks right now. They will match up with Michigan in their second game and I truly believe the third time is the charm. The Buckeyes will cut down the nets in Chicago.

Next we move on to the Big 12 where I genuinely think a handful of teams can win it so I’ll take my chances with a flyer. I will be taking BYU +10000 to win the Big 12 tournament. They look dead beyond belief since losing Richie Saunders but I think they still have a lot of ball to be played. They get a couple of easy matchups to start with K State and WVU and stay away from the big dog Arizona until the championship. Give me the best player in the conference at a number that’s too good to stay away from.

Last but not least we have the SEC. It would be very easy to give you the team that hasn’t lost in decades and looks unbeatable in Florida but there’s no fun in that so I’ll give you a team that I think can beat them when it comes down to it. I will be taking Alabama at +850 to win the SEC. The Crimson Tide can lose to anyone but can also beat anyone and I think they can shoot good enough to take down Florida. They will get an overhyped Georgia team in the quarterfinals and a hot & cold Arkansas team in the semifinals. I think they win both of those before taking down the Gators. Give me the Crimson Tide to win the SEC tournament.
