Betting Every NBA Game on the Slate - February 22 2026
Rav finally hits a Get Nice and decides to give all his coin back by betting every game on the NBA slate.

CFB + NBA

Good morning people. Last night as I'm mindlessly doomscrolling X, TikTok, VSCO, basically every social media app you can imagine, I decided to lab up today's slate early. I've been seein em lately. We finally hit a Hoops Get Nice after going 2/3 the previous 2 days ... Nuggets ML Nuke of Day on the Yap was probably the freest wager that has ever come out of my brain ... all the strong leans on the Yap have been going postive ... coming out of the All-Star Break firing.
It's time for a heat check folks. And what better way to check the heat than to have a bet in every goddamn game on the slate. I don't make the rules, fellas. I just follow em. That's baseball.
Cleveland Cavaliers at Oklahoma City Thunder
Did you know the Cavs haven't lost a game in February yet? I didn't either until about 7 hours ago. They've come out hot out of the All-Star Break winning both games they've played (28-point win vs Nets, 5-point win at CHA) and now travel to Oklahoma City. The Thunder are beat up bad still which explains this favorability towards the Cavs on the road. No SGA, no J-Dub, no Caruso, no Ajay Mitchell. I still think this line is a little short for how dominant the Cavs have been this month, especially since trading for James Harden. But we won't be taking a side.
This total caught my eye big time. The Thunder are still an above-average defensive team without their stars and the Cavs haven't put up crazy large totals through their last two games. The total opened at 223.5 and has moved up three points to 226.5. With the strongest of leans on the Thunder, I think they dice through a Cavs defense that ranks in the middle of the pack in points allowed and the Cavs find some success on offense on the road.

Brooklyn Nets at Atlanta Hawks (-10.5)
What a shit game. I mean who the hell in Atlanta comes to the decision to attend a Brooklyn Nets Atlanta Hawks game on a Sunday in late February? Go to church and absolve your sins.
I won't get into this game too much. I like the O227.5 once again. Neither team has come anywhere close to this total in their first two games out of the break (Hawks: 225 and 224 in two games; Nets: 191 and 196 in two games) and the books are expecting to see almost 230 points? I'm sure. The Hawks don't deserve to be 10.5 point favorites to anyone so look out for a potential Nets upset on the road here.

Toronto Raptors at Milwaukee Bucks
Just another shit game between two worthless, irrelevant franchises in the East this year. The Raptors are actually good and not a single soul is talking about it but neither of these teams carry any aura whatsoever and therefore I hate betting on them or any players involved with them.
I lean the Bucks here. Raptors are 10 wins better missing one of their best players (Scottie Barnes) on the road only 2.5 point favorites over the Giannis-less Bucks, who demolished the Pelicans in New Orleans to kick off the second half of their season. This is the last game between the two division rivals this year with the Raps taking the last two.

Denver Nuggets at Golden State Warriors
Oh the Denver Nuggets. Oh I wanna just lick all of you all over the mouth for what you did for me on Friday God that was so hot.
But now you will be faded.
The Nugs opened as 5.5 point favs over the Curry-less Warriors and have sinced moved to 6.5. I don't care. You don't put up almost 160 points, shoot 58% from the field and 52% from three and get to just walk into the sunset all happy and giddy. And let me preface this by saying I fucking hate betting on the Golden State Warriors and it is PAINFUL to watch this team with no Curry. But they're still a very tough out at home and one of the better defenses in the league. In fact they're much better defensively without Curry in the lineup. Nuggets -6.5 looks like one of the easiest buttons to press on the board today. Don't do it.

Dallas Mavericks at Indiana Pacers
Going into the All-Star Break, there were three teams on extended losing streaks: The Kings, Bulls, and Mavericks. All three teams are still on said losing streaks, and I think at least one of them end it today.
We start with the Mavs, who are without Cooper Flagg and opened up as favorites on the road over the Pacers who just lost two on the road in DC to the Wizards. Max Christie, Daniel Gafford and Caleb Martin are also all game-time decisions. The Pacers could be without some starters as well, with Aaron Nesmith out and Nembhard, McConnell and Siakam all GTDs.
The bottom-line is this. Regardless of injuries, Pacers feels like the easy button to click here after losing two in a row to the Wizards and returning home. The Mavs have lost 10-games in a row and are a favorite on the road. We know where I'm going with this.

Charlotte Hornets at Washington Wizards
Just as we talked about, the Wizards, who are absolutely ass, came out of the break FIRING and beat the Pacers back-to-back days at home. Now they host the Hornets off a loss, and let me just say that this looks like the most obvious fade-spot of all-time. Hornets -11.5 looks so easy. The Wizards have won 16 games all year and just won two in a row! How many times has that happened this year for them? Probably none. The Wiz Kids (shoutout Krabs) are without Alex Sarr and have Champagnie, George and Vukcevic as GTDs.
The Hornets, off a loss, still are without Diabate and Brandon Miller after the heavyweight bout in Detroit a few weeks ago, but are still mostly healthy and clearly the much better team.
I'm fading. Call me crazy call me an idiot call me Hitler I don't care. This spot is way too obvious for the Hornets. I'm not in love with all the media surrounding the LaMelo Ball car crash bullshit (what an idiot) and I think it could be affecting the locker room a bit. Don't doubt my sources. I went to a journalism school I know people.

Boston Celtics at Los Angeles Lakers
What a banger game and talk about a line. One of the oldest rivalries in the league. East vs West. Bird vs Magic. Brown vs Luka. Cinema.
Both teams opened up their second-half with wins. The Lakers squeaked out a dub at the Clippers while the Celtics took care of business in San Francisco. The Lake Show is finally fully-healthy, with not a single player on the injury report. Doncic firing, Reaves firing, LeBron firing, everyone just absolutely firing. And yet here they are, as underdogs at home to a Celtics team missing their star all season.
The Celtics have been one of the best stories in the league this season. Everyone wrote them off with no Tatum but Jaylen Brown has put the team on his back and Joe Mazzula has turned them into one of the premier defenses in the Association. And that is why I want to back the Celtics. The Lakers, despite fully healthy, still have major problems defensively, allowing 116 PPG compared to the Celtics 108. Any team with Luka is hard to beat but the Lakers were lucky to escape Intuit Dome with a win two nights ago ... they're losing tonight.

Philadelphia 76ers at Minnesota Timberwolves
It has been a nightmare start to the second half for the Philadelphia 76ers. Without Joel Embiid in their first two games, they lost at home to the Hawks and then lost again last night in New Orleans to the Pelicans. Now, on no rest, they travel to Minnesota to take on a T-Wolves team that is 20-10 at home this season and 7-3 in their last ten. Minnesota is fully-healthy and just missing Rudy Gobert due to suspension.
This total really caught my eye. It currently sits at 240.5, up from 236.5. The Sixers have put up 107 and 111 in both games so far, and even though the TWolves are usually an over team that average 120 PPG, 240 points ... ? I want to lean into this. The Sixers shot 12/46 (26%) from 3 and 38% from the field last night, and even against the Hawks shot 38% from the floor. So we are definitely due for some positive regression there. Gimme the over.

New York Knicks at Chicago Bulls
The New York Knicks fuckin suck. It legitimately is the biggest love-hate relationship with that dogshit team but they did come through for me so hard last night to cash the Get Nice. 17 point comeback. I had Rockets fans chirping me for fading them once again which I didn't realize I do that often but I definitely do. Meanwhile Hovi and the braindead Knicks fanbase in the DMs begging me to stop betting them acting like I'm BookitwithTrent. Whatever. You know what? Fine.
I'll quit yapping I like this under. The Knicks shot inredibly well to get back into that game and the Bulls have put up 110 in both games to start the second half. Total's down from 232.5 to 230.5. Ballsy to back the Bulls to play any defense whatsoever but we're doing it.

Portland Trail Blazers at Phoenix Suns
I have never wanted to tear the eyeballs out of my skull, but watching the Suns-Magic game yesterday almost made me do it. Both teams could not shoot the ball AT ALL from the start of the 4Q to the end of 2OT. It was a defensive struggle all game. Dillon Brooks broke his hand. Paolo Banchero recorded seven turnovers alone. Jalen Green shot 6/26 and still somehow hit a fadeaway game-winning three from the corner with one second left.
Now the Suns turn around and play another game tonight against Portland. The Trail Blazers are coming off one of the worst losses of the NBA season on Friday to Denver, losing by 54. Portland didn't really shoot that bad (41% FG, 32% 3PT) but gave up 18 turnovers and let the best offense in the league walk all over them at home. You could feel the second-hand embarrassment ozzing from the TV screen.
Phoenix will be without Brooks and Devin Booker. Portland will be without Shaedon Sharpe and Avdija is a GTD. Regardless of injuries it's hard not to like this over. The Suns as a team shot 29% from 3 and 34% from the field, Besides Jalen Green, Gillespie was 6/17 from the field, Grayson Allen was 8/22 and 4/14 from 3. Royce O'Neale was 2/10 from the field and 2/9 from 3. Green will shoot more effeciently today and should act as the primary scorer to get these other guys good looks. Portland coming off a stinker, Suns due for some positive regression and feature a weaker defense without Brooks ... gimme the over.

Orlando Magic at Los Angeles Clippers
The FINAL GAME on the slate. And it's gross. While I just shit on the Suns for yesterday's shitshow the Magic weren't any better. They've been such a big disappointment this whole year on the offensive side of the ball and are by far the least entertaining team to watch in the league. The Clippers are off a heartbreaker against the Lakers but did open the second-half with a win at home vs Denver.
Both of these teams are great defensively and this total says so. 215.5 is low. The Clippers have gone over that both of these last two games and the Magic are 1-1 to that number since the break (that game somehow did not go over 215 points with 2OTs last night). I want to lean into the defense still and take the under again, but I may change this pick tonight to the Magic based on how the lines move.
